Power cuts and Earthquakes in Hisaronu

We went to Hisaronu last year and couldn't believe how many power cuts we had...is this a regular thing. Also as there been any earthquakes there this year....we go tomorrow but just though I'd ask 😀😀

Hi Sue,

no earthquakes again, it has been just over a year now. İ even haven't felt a small one since (what a relief...) Nevertheless, Turkey is on top of many faults, about every year or so that is one big earthquake somewhere in Turkey, but the experts on it did mention that since Ölüdeniz had one now the risks there have diminished for many many years :-)

Powercuts, that is another thing, so far this year it seems very good. We have had only very few minor ones, last year if you were here just around the earthquake time those power cuts had to do with repair works after the shock.

Enjoy your holiday!
