Istanbul layover for 9 hours - Blue Mosque and Haque Sofia

I'll be in Istanbul for an 9 hour layover on April 22th (4:15 pm saturday - 1;10am sunday). I am travelling alone and I am pretty mobile with no luggage. I'm wondering how much a cab at approximately 6pm cost and based on traffic how much time it would take to go to the blue mosque. Is it advisable to take a taxi or train Saturday evening/night?

Will Haque Sofia be open at those hours on Saturday?

My outbound is at 1am so would like to be back to the airport by 10:30pm latest. I already have my e-visa to save some time.. Thank you for any and all advice you can give me!

The Haghia Sopia will be closed at that time The Blue Mosque is open until sunset, for prayers. Non-Muslims are not allowed entry during prayers. The quıckest way, and the cheapest, ınto the cıty is by metro to Aksaray. On leaving the station the Tram is opposite, a short walk across the road. It stops in Sultanahmet and the mosque is a short walk across the road. You should have plenty of time to visit.
