Visa fees 2012

Checked the FAQ in the upper right but the fees listed are for 2011. Does anyone know if the fees for 2012 are still 60.00USD or 45EUR for Canadians? I know they have been that amount for the past few years. Thank you.

Last year the fee for Australians was $20 and now it appears to have become $60. A rise like this may discourage some aussie tourists unfortunately.

Why would they do this? The usual direction is to make things easier for tourists and the extra $40 is bad policy since the tourists refusing would have spent far more....

tomkathy, These kind of decisions are made reciprocally between governments. Australian visa for Turkish citizens is very expensive also.

The major advantage and convenience of Turkish visa for Australians and many other nationalities, is that the visa is given at the airport in a few minutes upon arrival, no questions asked. Such enormous convenience is not offered by Australia to the Turkish citizens, unfortunately.
