hallo, I will need to arrive to Sabiha airport in the very early morning since my flight will be at 7 am. My hotel is in Fatih area. I have plan to go to Taksim square by taxi, then take Havatas bus for Sabiha. My question, is it safe for woman to be in Taksim square in very early morning? At 4 or 5 am, for instance. I'm little bit worried since I will be travelling alone.

Nanana, Yes, it would be safe to walk at Taksim at those hours also. Just take a taxi from your hotel to Havatas bus stop in front of Point Hotel. Here it is: "http://goo.gl/maps/2OKqq". If it is an international flight, you need to be at the airport at 5.00 am and you have to take the 4.00 am bus. here is the schedule: "http://www.havatas.com.tr/index.html".

good luck,

Hi Enigma, thanks for your prompt response. It will be domestic flight, so could you suggest what time I have to arrive at Sabiha airport?

Similar as return transfer, I will also take Havatas bus for my trip from Sabiha to hetel. I'm wondering if Havatas stop (direction to Sabiha) is the same point as the stop for direction to Fatih?

Arriving at SAW anywhere between 0500-0600 will be fine for an 0700 domestic flight.

Yes it is. You will need to catch the Havatas shuttle from SAW to Taksim

Here is the timetable

From Taksim catch the 87 Edirnekapi bus and get off at the desired point in Fatih along Fevzi Pasa rd

Here is the timetable & route of this bus

Nanana, You can arrive half an hour later for a domestic flight. So you can take the 04.30 bus from Taksim.

Yes, it will be the same stop on your return. Simply take a taxi from there to your hotel when you return.
