money changer in istanbul or gaziantep

As I have some hours in Istanbul before continue my next flight, I wonder if the money changers in Istanbul generally have a better rate than Gaziantep.

Lanni,, No, not really. Money exchange offices get their rates from the main foreign exchange markets in Istanbul and many changers are big businesses with several baranches all over the country. A certain company's money changer will have the same price all over the country at any given time. However those prices do change electronically through time. It is like the NY stock exchange. So whether you are in Istanbul, Konya or gaziantep does not matter very much.

Ali, For weather consult "www.wunderground.com". And for transport from the airport to the city, use the Havas buses. "havas.com.tr/en/…tab1".

Ali, enigma has provided you the information about Havas buses.

There are always buses stand by every time there is flight landing, even midnight. Gaziantep airport is relatively busy anyway.
