Hotel in sultanahmet

Visiting istanbul for 3 full days in October. Have looked at hotel Basileus sultanahmet.

Please suggest some other hotels in the range of 100 € - 120 € for a triple room in the sultanahmet area.. Thanks

Here's my review of a triple room at the Nena, a couple of years ago now, but newer reviews are still very good- tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowUserReviews-g293974-d2…

Some hotels will offer an extra bed in a double room, but I was a little wary of that as some of the hotel rooms in Istanbul aren't very large.

I would also recommend Hotel Nena as I've stayed with them and was happy with the service.

Some other hotels nearby I've stayed and can recommend are:

Aprilis Hotel

Megara Palaca Hotel

Uyan Hotel

Erguvan Hotel

Lots of good hotels, as Globe and Resme say, but not all with triple rooms which you require.

As Isaid, some of those may offer you an extra be in a double but it could be a bit cramped because standard rooms in Sulanahmet boutique hotels tend not to be very big,

Most budget & medium range hotels in old Istanbul are similar in size to those in central Paris due to being small.

There are lots of old apartment buildings in the streets running off Divan Yolu rd (trams roa) to the left as going up the road that are being converted in to hotels however space is tight and make do with what they have.

If you venture to further areas you will come across bigger rooms however then will forego the convenience of being near the attractions and have to commute longer distances which I'd highly recommend against.
