October 4, Eid-Ul-Adha - When will Museums / Mosques Open?

My one day to see Istanbul is October 4, Eid-Ul-Adha.

Due to the religious holiday I am not sure what museums and mosques will be open.

For example, I think Topkapi Palace and Dolmabahçe Palace are closed.

Could someone direct me to a web site that shows what is open on October 4 so I can create a comprehensive itenerary based on what is open?

Thanks very much

On the first day of Bayram mosques are open at their usual time.Museums galleries and other attractions are closed until 13.00 and then open to their normal hours and days after that.

The Grand Bazaar is closed for the full 4 days as are banks ,so make sure you withdraw cash from ATM's or use the exchange offices.

So grateful for this information, I never thought about the banks being closed.

Are Tokapi and Dolmabahce considered museums?

Ellen, Topkapi palace and Dolmabahce palace are museums and they follow their regular schedule after 1.00 pm on the first day of the bayram.
