Hello! I am traveling to Istanbul for 4 days after having been in Israel beforehand. I've been reading the news and have heard about some very large anti-Israel protests recently regarding the Israel-Gaza situation, as well as comments that the Prime Minister has made about the situation. Someone in the Israel forum suggested rethinking Turkey at the moment for fear of anti-Israel/Jewish sentiment, but I really would love to make it to Istanbul. I don't want to turn this into a politicized thread at all, but I am wondering if there really is any reason to be concerned? Should I not tell people that I was in Israel? I know Istanbul is a large city and I won't be near the Israeli consulate, and I'm sure most people are very kind and tolerant, but I am curious what other people think.
