Are there any attractions I need to book in advance?

Are there any attractions I need to book in advance in Israel?

Like something worthwhile to see that if I arrive there without a prior booking, I won't be able to see?

By the way, I'd rather not book in advance, just if I have to.

I will be visiting Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Jericho, Hebron, Haifa, Akko, Nazareth and Eilat.

What is your itinerary like? What are your interests. There are many sites requiring advanced reservations, the above 3 are the most popular.

I hope that you have reserved your lodgings, which must be reserved in advance.

Also if you plan to rent a car at any point, you should make your rental car reservations in advance.

mbgg,

"The Western Wall Tunnel tour in Jerusalem.

The Palmach Museum in Tel-Aviv.

The 'Dig for a Day' program at Bet Guvrin."

How much in advance must I book those?

Am I already too late for early October?

How much in advance should I book that?

How far in advance - no one can answer that -especially since you are only looking for one person so it will be a bit easier to book - I suggest you check now - there are times you can find something at the last minute and other times that you are closed out two months in advance.

If you are considering Dig for a Day - keep in mind that you need a car for that day - not only to get to Beit Guvrin but because the park is very large and the activity is not accessible by foot from the park entrance.

I'm guessing you mean Oct 17-18 for Eilat? How are you getting there and back? It's a long trip for just an overnight stay. Where do you go from there?

You have to check the websites of the three places that I listed and email or phone them, if necessary. Nobody here is going to do that for you,

Oreet S,

- Honestly, this is the first time I heard about this. I will read about it and see if I want to go there.

I'm very interested in the "The Western Wall Tunnel tour in Jerusalem" though. So I'll book this one this week-end.

Not so sure about the "The Palmach Museum in Tel-Aviv".
