Connection time at Ben Gurion

If I fly into Tel Aviv from London and arrive at 5:15 AM on Thursday morning, can I get thru customs and maneuver the terminals and make a 8:30 AM flight to Eilat?

Seems to make sense. It does not take long to go through passport or customs at Ben Gurion. There is a shuttle between the terminals.

as long as your luggage will be sent directly to Eilat I think that it's very doable.

Even if your luggage is not checked through ( I am sure you will need to go through customs and immigration prior to making a domestic flight which means you need our luggage. ) I picked someone up from the airport last week. They came in at a very busy time ( 5PM) There were at least a dozen flights landing within a hour of each other. She was out 1.5 hours after landing. If that happens to you, there will be plenty of time to get to the domestic terminal.
