Mughrabi Bridge reopened

The Mughrabi Bridge was re-opened this morning.

No further information on any long term plans for insuring safe, continued access to the Temple Mount.

I hope this resolved soon, sensibly, and calmly. I know that's asking a lot . . . .

Thanks for sharing this article - it does a reasonable job of presenting the issues about this bridge and the difficulties of dealing with a bridge that clearly needs to be replaced properly.

the author of the article "Shmuel Rosner, an editor and columnist based in Tel Aviv, is senior political editor for The Jewish Journal", hardly an unbiased article. the bottom line is if this bridge was so unsafe and dangerous it wouldnt be open for tourists. anyhow its great that its open again and tourists can enjoy seeing the Temple Mount!

The Israeli press has been writing for some time now about how unsafe the bridge is. The article is very factual and I fear the day when it collapses and then there is concrete proof to its danger.
