private guides

My husband and I are considering Dubi Fishler of dubitours.com as a private guide for our two weeks in Israel.. We have never been and suspect it will be our only visit.

Has anyone experienced a trip with him?

His site looks impressive, but would love wsome commentary from an independent.

Thanks,

M. Jane

How did you find him? There are a number of licensed guides who are recommended on this site. You can check for them here. They are tried and tested.

If you are hiring blindly without a strong recommendation from someone you personally know--consider splitting and having 2 guides, 1 week each. Also, in the Top Questions section on the length there is a link called, "Private Guides" It contains both names and ideas on what you should do when interviewing your perspective guide.

A fancy website only means someone hired a good web designer. I know nothing about this guide--which doesn't mean a thing--but check him out!
