Getting to Cable Car at Masada from Kfar Hanokdim

Is it difficult for our private guide and vehicle to take my parents who are in their 70's to the Cable car entrance to get them up to Masada from Kfar Hanokdim?

It is not difficult - a regular highway through the desert. It just takes some time. The car will need to drive through Arad and up route 90. It takes about an hour or more. Many tour buses drop off their groups at the Roman Ramp side of Masada, and then drive around to wait for them on the other side as the groups walk down the snake path after their time on top. It only takes about 20 minutes to climb the Roman Ramp so if you intend to do that you will have considerably more time on the top than your parents but you could use this time to see the back end which so many people miss and that your parents might not be able to do. This would include going into the water cistern. You could also do the lower levels of the Northern Palace, again a spot your parents would be unlikely to tackle.

So if the seven of us that are traveling together leave Kfar Hanokdim at the same time, can our driver drop five of us at the Snake path entrance then take my two parents to the cable car entrance? Then we all can meet on top about the same time?

The snake pass and the cable car start from the same place - the visitors' center. Most probably your parents will get there sooner.

Thank you for your help. Our travel agent says it will be difficult access to the cable car from where we are tenting at Kfar Hanokdim??? Not sure what she means by this?

Your travel agent means that there are many places to stay that are much closer to the other side of Masada and that you will have an hour or more to drive. It is not difficult, just farther away. If you are climbing the snake path and your parents are taking the cable car, you will all be traveling together through some fantastic desert scenery to arrive at the Eastern side. It is not the most convenient place to stay for climbing the snake path (you have to arrive early to climb before it gets too hot), but since the cable car doesn't open until 8, it won't be too early. However, staying overnight at Kfar Hanokdim is an experience in itself and worth the extra driving time in my opinion.

Kfar HaNokdim is near Arad and so on the western side of Masada while the Dead Sea, Snake Path and cable car are on the eastern side.

It is definitely possible to stay at Kfar Hanokdim and then in the morning drive around to the Dead Sea side. What you need to do is plan this out - you cannot go up the Roman Ramp and then come down on the Dead Sea side if you expect to have your car - you can only do this if you have a driver who will drive all the way around while you tour Masada. What you will need to do is go up and come back down the same side and make sure your car is where you want it when you are done.
