Border fees - Eilat-Petra-Eilat

Looking through forum for updated costs to cross for the day. How much do I need to bring with me? Do I need both Israeli and Jordanian money?

Thanks in advance!

As far as Israeli tax (and currency) is concerned,

If you go from Eilat to Petra and back, you pay only when you exit Israel. The entry to Israel is free of charge. The exit fee is 100 NIS + 5 NIS commission. You can evade the 5 NIS commission if you pay the 100 NIS in advance at Eilat's central post office.

As far as Jordanian tax - consult the Jordan forum.
