Great site- 360* tours of Jerusalem holy places

With a hat tip to my friend H, here's a fabulous site that gives 360 degree virtual tours of the Kotel (Western Wall), Haram ash-Sherif (Temple Mount) including the Al Aqsa Mosque and Dome of the Rock, and the Holy Sepulchre church. A great way to relive trip memories, or to visit those places that religion or politics prevent you from seeing...

This is indeed a wonderful site, Avigail. Since the Al-Aqsa Mosque is still sadly closed to non-Muslims, that piece is particularly nice for people who won't otherwise see the inside. I wish they had done that for the Dome of the Rock as well.

A wonderful site, indeed.

However, what really upsets me are the "Google Ads" displayed on this site. There is one calling for the non-recognition of the State of Israel (the "Zionist entity", as they say).

This site is pretty good for this function as well, and is used on Google Earth

Doug, they did do the Dome of the Rock - when you click on Al-Aqsa mosque, go to the bottom left corner of the screen where you can scroll through thumbnail pictures. There you can select from about 20 different locations - there are lots of different positions on the Temple Mount and the last two are inside the Dome of the Rock (at least, I assume from the structure that that is where it is).
