My hotel computer access is very limited. I would like to seek help from anyone who may have any information on Catholic Mass Services in the afternoon of 6/9/12. I am staying at the Harmony.
PS - In and around Jerusalem, any suggestions on places to visit during Shabbat (tomorrow Saturday)? Been to the museums already.

HOLY FAMILY CHAPEL
Austrian Hospice, Via Dolorosa, 5:30 pm on Sat - in German
The Holy Sepulchre has high mass at 6 pm (probably in Latin, but not stated)
ST. SAVIOUR’S PARISH CHURCH
St.Francis Street 1 - this is in the Christian Quarter - 6 pm in Arabic

You may wish to consider St. Stephen's Church at 6 Nablus Road in East Jerusalem, a short walk from the Damascus Gate and next door to the Garden Tomb. The Dominicans have a lovely mass (although in French) and the church is historic with mosaics on the floor. They have weekday
mass at 11:30; don't know if weekday includes Saturday.
Even though we are not Roman Catholic, we went there for Easter Sunday mass and it was truly moving. It seems a lot pilgrims from French speakiing Africa go there
And be sure to visit the Garden Tomb as that is fabulous. We attended Easter services there and it was beyond moving! Not sure if they have Saturday services however, but a tour is a must. ANd on Shabbat, you can wander through the Old city as it is ALWAYS open.
I like the idea of spending time at the Garden Tomb, I am going there, my free Saturday before leaving for home tonite. For Mass, I called Notre Dame, they do have a 6:30 Mass tonite.
Anyone know the way from the Jaffa Gate or any gates to the Garden Tomb?
How far is the Garden Tomb to the Notre Dame Church please? I have to plan my time and hurry back to hotel for my sherrut pickup.

124 reviews To reach the Garden Tomb simply exit the DAMASCUS GATE of the Old City and head north for just a couple of minutes on Nablus Road. There will be an entrance with a signpost to your right.
