There are celebrations and walks through the Old City by the various churches on both holidays. I would like to suggest that you see the Christian Information Center's (at Jaffa Gate in Jerusalem) website for further information.

Palm Sunday for the Catholics in 2013 is March 24, which is also the eve of Passover. March 31, Easter Sunday is also the last day of Passover.

The Orthodox Easter is on May 5, and Palm Sunday, obviously, the week before.

This year, the Catholics celebrated Easter Sunday on the same day the Orthodox celebrated Palm Sunday, so it was quite crowded in the Old City. I uploaded a few photos

On the eve of Passover around mid-morning, you may see small bonfires as the religious Jews burn the remains of leavened products.

Since the Catholics are a small minority of the Christians in Jerusalem, I would not expect huge crowds of people on either Palm or Easter Sunday. There will be services of course. The Franciscans, as the Catholic custodians of the Holy Land, would have the most information on observances.
