We just got home from seeing 'Jerusalem the movie' which is showing in Melbourne this weekend. I have never been to the IMAX theatre in Melbourne before - but apparently it's got the 3rd largest screen in the world. Seeing the story of Jerusalem on a screen that large and in 3D makes you feel you are there walking the streets.
It's well done, very worth seeing, and for anyone planning to go to Israel it will give you a taste of what it is like to be there. For those like me who have been... You will recognise so much, see places you know and love from great vantage points that give a new perspective. It is well worth seeing if you get the opportunity.
And what is it about Jerusalem that makes me teary when I see something like this? It has some kind of magnetism that no other city has.
