Car Rental return in Tel aviv airport

I will be departing from Tel Aviv airport for an international departure at 8 am driving from Jerusalem in a rental car.

A few questions:

Will the road be safe in the early morning hours (4-5 am)?

How much time should I allow to drive to the airport?

Are the car rental returns efficient at the Tel Aviv airport?

Thank you

Roads are safe any time.

At this early hours it will take you less than 45 minutes

There are signs in English to the rental car return. Should not take long time as long as there are no issues with the car and fuel.

Keep in mind that there are many, many flights leaving in the early hours of the morning so that there may be a good number of other people returning cars, allow a bit extra time for that.

Also - remember you need to be at the airport, after returning your car, three hours before your scheduled departure time.

The airport will be quite busy at 5 am.
