I keep forgetting

The Israeli plug - is that the one with just 2 small prongs or does that fit into an adaptor. I know that I bought an adaptor last time and it just had 2 small prongs but i cannot remember if it went into a bigger plug. Please advise.

No, your 2 round prongs will fit into Israeli sockets with no further adapter. The "official" Israeli plug has 3 round pins but the European 2-pin plug also fits the same sockets.

Actually, if you are in an old building the 3 prong is no good, they may only have a two prong outlet!

Divacape says he has a two-prong adaptor, so two-prong outlets won't be a problem. In any case, I can't remember ever seeing a two-prong outlet in all the decades I have been here. That's not to say they may not exist somewhere, but it's unlikely that you would come across one.

Standard European two-prong plugs fit very nicely into Israeli three-prong outlets. And many appliances sold in Israel have a two-prong plug anyway.
