Cash needed at Jordan/Israeli border crossing?

We are travelling from Amman to Jerusalem via the Allenby Bridge. We plan to leave out rental car on the Jordanian side and rely on a sherut taxi into Jerusalem. My question is whether we need to have cash for any exit and entry fees on either side or whether credit cards can be used. If we do need to have cash, how much do we need to have?

Also, I am assuming that taxis in Israel have no way to accept credit card payments. If that is the case, how much should a shared taxi cost to get from the Israeli side of the border to Old Jerusalem?

Thanks!

You need cash for all the border charges and taxes. You need your Jordanian visa in advance if you are crossing by the Bridge and the exit taxi is pretty fierce, I think around 45USD coming from Israel.
