I am planning an epic road trip from Doha Qatar to the UK to bring back my girlfriends car (she lived in Qatar for 18 years but is a British citizen, we both hold full British passports.) the only way that seems "safe" to get back into Europe is to go through Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Israel. This involves crossing the Saudi - Jordan border in a car with Qatari plates, and doing the same into Israel with a Saudi stamp on our passports. Does anyone have any idea how hard this will be? (We are fully aware of Saudi's laws will have my girlfriends father with us to cross). Other websites seem to think that crossing into Jordan from Saudi is impossible for non-citizens. If this is true, can anyone think of any way of getting the car out of the middle east without having to drive through an active war zone or major no go areas?
