Unlikely as a standard service, and if you can find someone to do it, it won't be cheap.

UAE and Oman are separate countries, so a driver will have to travel to Khasab and bring the vehicle back to Dubai. That will involve two border crossings for him and his driver.

As ever with this things, if you're prepared to pay you may be able to convince someone to do this. After all, labour and fuel are pretty cheap in this part of the world.

I'd suggest making direct contact with some rental agencies in Dubai.

And for $1000 I'd take a day off work and do it for you :-)

Yes, I thought as much. Are there companies that do day-trips? Perhaps we could we do a one-way day trip.

Dubai Taxi to RAK - Musandam border. Walk through after Visa formalities. Take (another) Oman taxi.
