Emirates Palace

I am looking into staying at the emirates palace. I have found that there are three tiers of normal rooms; coral, pearl and diamond. I would appreciate it if someone who has stayed could explain the three types?

Thanks very much.

I've stayed there but sorry I don't recall what room type it was. Details of the room types are described on their website.

We had booked a coral room & then got an upgrade into a pearl room on the side wing with half view of the waters & half towards the city (Hilton Hotel side).

There is hardly any difference btn Coral & pearl room, except for perhaps the color theme & some diff. in floor area.

Diamond wud be larger with more kitsch arabic decor & sitting areas & larger baths.

The Hotel is grand..the 1st day will go into walking across it & enjoying its facilities. Rooms a super luxurios & romantic. The Pearl room had Bose music system...so carry your fav CDs, the room-light controls are amazing, the bath is gr8.

you can perhaps book a coral room initially & then ask for an upgrade. but whatever room it be...it going to be top-class...so book without any hitch.

have a nice trip
