Emirates Palace Non-Resident Visit

My wife and are are stopping at Abu Dhabi the week after next for the day as a cruise call from Royal Caribbean. We've read some great reviews of the Emirates Palace Hotel but mainly from people staying there. Can anyone help as to whether they allow non-residents in to look around and maybe a drink?

We don't really want afternoon tea here as we're booking into the Burj in Dubai for that and at those prices can only afford it once!!

Many thanks.

Yes, non residents can go in, it's not like Burj al Arab where you need a booking for something.

Just one thing to add though is that visitors need to be appropriately dressed. They usually turn away visitors wearing shorts. ILME

Le Café is located in the main lobby area of the Palace.

I was turned away at the door last week. You now need a reservation to go in.
