Airport Transfer to our Hotel

Hello,

We are landing in Punta on December 29. What are our options (with the prices) to get from the airport to our hotel? We do not have a rental car. Thank you.

The options and prices change every year. Taxis are relatively expensive.

This question is best directed to your hotel. They should have the current info. If it's a major hotel like Conrad, it will offer transportation.

too late for the OP, but taxis from the airport are expensive and a monopoly. There is a shuttle which is about 250 pesos to old town (vs 850 for taxi). It takes a few people and makes multiple stops - still not a bad deal for the price. Signs aren't good - it's on the outer lane and is a small van - once you find them they are very helpful .

The buses AFree mentions do not enter the airport. To take 'em you have to walk to the route, and only those not on a DIRECTO charter will stop, Cot or Copsa.

AFree, please be careful when giving advice. The buses Cot or Copsa are a good option only when going from the city to the airport. NOT the other way around as most buses come from Montevideo on a non-stop itinerary, so people could end up waiting for hours for a bus to stop.
