Any suggestions for acclimating to the altitude at Lake Titicaca?
I know it's pretty high up there, and I'm not all that used to altitudes of that caliber.
Was in Portillo, Chile last year and didn't have any problem, but I know that's not as high as Lake Titicaca.
Is it better to stay over for a couple of nights to help adjust?
Any suggestions or thoughts?
I'm looking at a possible trip to Bolivia and Peru next year and thought I'd throw the question out there as I've had great success in getting information from this site on recent trips.
Thanks in advance!
