South America: 2 weeks only in early March

Hi there,

I'll be in LA and Vegas for 2 weeks with a group of mates in mid February 2013.

I'm considering then traveling by myself to either South America for 2 weeks.

Some nice weather, beaches etc and interesting things to see would be nice. Not keen on spending too much time in transit so maybe 2 or 3 places before heading back home to Australia.

I'm male, in my 30's and keen to have a good time.

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Well that's a big question- south America is huge and varied, and it depends what you want to see!

If you are after a combination of sights, sun and beach then I think brazil is best for you.

Rio is an interesting city, there are miles of coast and stunning beaches, iguassu falls, wildlife options and cultural cities.
