10 days in Colombia

Due to sudden change of plan we are now flying to Bogota late on 9th December and back on 20th Dec. How to fit in Bogota/Cartagena and the coffee plantations near Pereira in such a short space of time?

Any suggestions. Also any recommendation for tours for the coffee plantation?

So you don't spend hours and days traveling by road (too bad as this is where you get the real feel of Colombia) you need to travel the 3 cities via airline. The other option is limit your travel to only 2 areas and not 3 or 4 as it is just too much ground to cover.

Have fun!

Agreed, look at flying. It is just over an hour to Cartagena from Bogota by air. You can also fly into Pereira. Check out Copa, Avianca and Viva Colombia. As this is holiday time for the schools the rates are not as favourable but it air is the only way to go with only 9 days.

Would definitely check out Medellin, Cartagena and Tayrona in the ten days, absolute must do! You could do an overnight bus from Bogota to Medellin but probably worth flying if you only have 10 days
