Food at Sinalei Resort

Hi All,

My husband and I are going to Sinalei Resort next week, and having not even set foot there yet, I can honestly say that I think I am going to have a WONDERFUL experience. I emailed the resort to ask for a copy of their restaurant's meals so that I could see the prices and type of food available. Two days later, the staff replied with the menus and offered to make my husband a surprise birthday cake in whatever flavour I wanted, inquired what I would like them to write on top of the cake and offered to have all the staff assemble to sing Happy Birthday in Samoan and English :o) What a lovely offer, how nice of them! I can't wait to go :o)

Here is some of the menu with the prices, hopefully it'll help some other people out who are wondering about the price of food at Sinalei - I was pleasantly surprised - it's not overpriced at all for the standard. Please note that I have retyped this in, so any spelling errors are my own. Prices are in Western Samoan Tala.

Talofa Makokat!! I think you are going to have an amazing time in Samoa! You definitely have the right attitude.

Sinalei is just beautiful, and the restaurant on the jetty over the water (Iva I Toga) is wonderful. We have eaten there many times and the staff are fantastic. The food is to die for! Their wine list is also excellent.

Best of luck to with your trip, and please post back and tell us of your Samaon experience!
