Honeymoon Iririki Island Resort

Hi,

Heard VUV is quite expensive - does anyone have any idea what the food and drink prices are at this resort? Any reccomendations to where to stay if you have spent your honeymoon in VUV? inexpensive rooms? We dont really want the luxurouis type of honeymoon as we both like the water so snorkelling would be on the top of our list. Any resorts that would offer great corals etc to snorkel?

Hi KC

Food and drinks are the same price in Vanuatu as they are in Australian restaurants cafes and take aways ...so may be a bit more $ for you than in NZ. You can get cheap food or expensive food...Iririki has a cafe where you can get bar food for $10 or a restaurant where you can pay $65 for a full on seafood buffet and others in between. You are close to town for getting food at the markets, chicken shop or stuff from the supermarket. There are many accommodation choices and you are best to look at the hotel reviews on TA to see what standard you really want.

Have fun choosing!

Hi - arrived home yesterday from Vanuatu & spent most of our time at the Iririki. Prices for meals compared to Aus. - we had some meals there and others in Port Vila. We also stayed on Pele Island you might also enjoy that. I am about to write a trip report with all the details.
