Myanmar Visa in Australia
Save

As has been mentioned on this forum, the Myanmar Embassy's website in Australia has vanished. It has been gone for several weeks now, making it difficult to download the forms to apply for a visa.

After an afternoon's googling, I've located a downloadable copy of the application form for Australian and NZ residents on this website. http://www.seechina.com.au/pdf/Myanmar_visa_form20120214.pdf

Hope others find it useful. :)

Thanks Luigi,I will link it to the Top questions.

Each Embassy seems to have a slightly different form, and some have different requirements (proof of travel etc-but not London).

Eventually the day may come when the evisa system is rolled out worldwide-but don't hold your breath.....

This is the Myanmar government's evisa website: http://www.myanmarevisa.gov.mm/

It's still not working, whrabbit. Or is this just a plug for air asia?

What i expect is that the myanmar e visa will work with the efficiency of the cambodian e visa . The mention of Air asia (i dont imagine they need any help from me) was to highlight the current one way fare, as against the over the top fare asked by bangkok air, etc, for this short flight. it may help passengers flying bkk to rangon whose travel agents do not have air asia in their system...Yes,some major agencies will not tell you. Thus they are able to get clients to pay their excessive fees!

Just been through this.Ring the embassy in Canberra & the lovely lady Jane will email you the form & instructions. My visa took 3 weeks from posting to receiving back.
