Visa in Kuala Lumpur

Hi,

Is it correct to say that the ONLY place to get a Visa for Myanmar in KL is from Ever Fine?

Is it not possible to get one through the Embassy?

Thanks

I recall seeing something on the Thorntree Myanmar forum-pop in there and use the search feature

Hello! Yes, it appears to be so. We are in KL right now and went to the embassy to get the visa for our flight on the 7th. They directed us to Ever Fine and got to their office -- very modern and efficient. Submitted the paperwork necessary (they did have photos available for a fee there and also had copies of the form) -- But look at the required list of documents on the Myanmar embassy web site.

Quick and easy drop off today (around 15 minutes wait time) -- Could pick up this afternoon but will go back tomorrow morning. Seems efficient. Cost was visa fee + 30 MYR "processing fee" -- so about 110 MYR total per person.

I'll post if there are any problems with pickup. Thanks!
