Myanmar e-visa site now open

The new Myanmar e-visa site:

http://www.myanmarevisa.gov.mm

has now opened for 'limited number tourist visa applications'.

The cost is $50 for a visa, and 41 nationalities may apply.

So, who's going first?

Hi Silverswimmer,

The message you have bumped quotes a newspaper report that e-visa's are planned for a future release. (I didn't know that message was there!). My message is that the e-visa site is up-and-running; if you are travelling in the next 90 days you can apply now. The site's opening message says that it is only taking a limited number of applications, a 'soft-opening' if you like, but it is long-awaited news.

what ever you do - dont use this service

http://www.myanmar-evisa.com/

Complete rippoff and they wait a week before even starting to process your visa on the express payment of 100 dollars.

Avoid at all costs!

J'ai utilisé ce service de e-visa en ligne en Octobre 2014 : résultat rejet de mon visa sans aucun motif et mes 50 USD ne seront pas remboursés .

Comment appelez celà indélicatesse ? escroquerie ?

The link that SS posted is the sole address by Myanmar Government.

Do not use any other ones. E-Visa now valid for both Yangon and Mandalay International Airports
