high five hotel

I'm thinking of staying at the High Five Hotel for 1 nite.I believe its not far from the airport.I have a early flite next day to Lashio.Has anybody stayed there.Usual questions. Also is there any where to go out to eat at nite and maybe a beer.Hotel wants $7 for taxi pickup at airport as well.

I presume you have seen this,$7 for taxi so near the airport seems steep.I'm afraid I don't know the local eateries.

yeah it does seem expensive, considering you can get a taxi to Downtown for $10.I stick with the taxi rank outside, did see someone payed 3000kyat to the hotel.

Checked on Agoda and Hotel looks a bit expensive.

Please try Season Hotel. It's about 5 min walk from the airport.

I stayed in High Five Hotel In May this year - I was the one who paid 3000kyats for taxi from airport. The taxi drivers will approach you once you step out of the airport. Couldn't really answer you on the food as I arrived quite late and was not feeling well.
