Just returned from a Vantage trip to Egypt where Aladdin Khalifa was our tour manager and Egyptologist. I've had many tour managers in my day, but Aladdin was the best ever!

Vantage is a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for, as we discovered from talking with others along the way. Don't miss the Lake Nassar cruise, as this is a wonderful way to wind down after frantic Cairo. Alexandrea is a must day trip from Cairo and highly recommend the Coptic Cairo tour, as well.
