Full Day Excursion of Pyramids versus Pyramids Light Show

We are on a Red Sea Cruise next week, one day docked in Port Sokhna for Cairo. We want to see the pyramids but can't decide whether to do a full day trip taking in the pyramids, Mohammed Ali Mosque & The Nile approx 11hrs (think it could be a long day) or do the Pyramids Light Show & Nile Sunset Cruise approx 7hrs (will we get a good look at pyramids at dusk). Has anyone done either of these excursions?

I strongly recomend the Full day for the pyramids visit, the sound and light is nice to spend an hour to see the show and enjoy an evening but it is nothing to compare with the real visit to the pyramids , Sphinx and Valley temple, even if it means more hours but it really worth

Sound and light is just to give a historical idea, but it cant be instead of the real visit

have a nice trip
