Check in time for flight to Luxor?

Hi. We have an Egyptair flight from Cairo to Luxor on 6 April leaving Cairo at 22:50.

How far ahead of departure do check in desks for internal flights open and what is a sensible amount of time to allow to get through all the airport procedures?

Thanks

Egyptair advise you leave 2 hours. We have taken many internal flights and have always left it to an hour before departure and it was never tight

1 always arrive 1 hour before internal flights in Egypt. Never taken me long to check in and get to the gate.

I agree with one hour, although one time we arrived one hou in advance for a flight from Aswan to Cairo and they offered to put us on an earlier flight leaving in fiften minutes, which we accepted,

you probably won't need the hour, but the depature time (when it is adhered to) is the time the plane takes off, so it is loaded and the doors shut 10-15 minutes earlier.
