What is the approximate rate per cabin per night on a 5 star Nile cruise line and any suggestions on good Nile cruise boats?

Sorry to say, but you might as well ask, "How long is a piece of string?"

5* cruise boats can be had for $125 per cabin per night, but you can also pay up to $800 per cabin per night!

I would suggest that you check all the questions on the right of this page (and on the Luxor forum page), and also the on-going thread about cruise boats which is currently on the first page of the forum.

Mind you, everyone's perception of what is 5*, and everyone's perception of what is acceptable can be completely different.

You may have to just accept that whatever you book and however much you pay, it might not get you exactly that which was in your minds eye. Egypt can be very frustrating, but to let that spoil your holiday would be very sad. The rule of thumb is "expect the unexpected". Sorry.

Have a great time,

Edward.

5* international or 5* Egyptian ??? as the two can be rather different and as Edward rightly points out there are a number of factors to be considered eg the cruise line operating the boat, age of boat, recent refurbishments if any etc...
