Slightly confused by the last part of the question...do you want to know the cost of drinks on the excursions ?..or the cost of the excurions and what they are ??...

And when you say very little included do you mean in terms of pre trip details provided by your company/agent or in terms of whats included in the cruise ??..(excursions sold seperately ?)

I cannot be specific about the 'exact' price of drinks on this particular boat, as I haven't cruised on it, but the drink prices on all the boats are pretty much the same, so any threads on cruiseboat drink prices will give you a fairly good idea, but they will be quite highly priced in the region of :-

Local beer - around 35LE (from 10LE upwards when bought off the boat)

Cola/Fanta/Sprite - around 12LE (5LE & upwards off the boat)

Large bottle of water - around 15LE (2LE & upwards off the boat)

Imported spirits are likely to be anything from 70LE & upwards per shot on or off the boat, with imported beers or wines being similarly highly priced.

The price of drinks on excursions is of course dependant on where you actually buy them from, but as with most places in the world, if you buy them at a 'tourist site' cafe, such as the one situated within the Karnak temple complex, or the (now closed) cafe at the VoK, then they will be far more expensive (more akin to the prices onboard your cruise boat) that they would be from a local vendor or street cafe.

Hi

We are looking to book a Nile cruise on the Viking Princess in January and just wondered what the weather would be like. I looked up online and it said between 48-66 degrees, Has anyone been in January as the 66 sounds fine but would not want it to be any lower really.
