We always get an annual family policy as it works out cheaper for us. During the troubles last year only Norwich Union (or whatever they are now called) were prepared to insure us so we've continued to give them our business.

Travel agents usually charge rip off prices for a poorer level of cover. there was thread on here last year warning that some of them didn't even cover safaris despite the fact that htese had been booked as part of the package! We get ours through

Best to book with someone else try M & S travel insurance or Insure&Go have used both and found them both fair and reasonably priced
