We were anxiously packing for our first trip to Africa and tying up loose ends to leave the next day.
Was the trip of a lifetime.. Kenya is amazing!!
When are you returning (-:
so true, some places are unforgetable, truely wonderful location of the world...
The world is an amazing place, so much to see, so little time.
Mallamombasa and bina...
Totally agree with everything you said.
Theere are definitely some places i want to see in the next 5-10 years while we can still walk on tours and sit on long flights. :)
As long as we are having fun and everything is safe, bumps in the road are no big deal... Literally!!!!! :)
Makeup, good play on words! Keep your wonderful and positive attitude with you, because after eight consecutive hours of those roads in Uganda, you'll need it! (-: One friend, on a separate Ugandan journey, was in tears. I love the country, but wish i'd been more mentally prepared for the roads. Still--NOTHING can adequately prepare you for them. Maybe by the time you get there in 2014, all the work on the Kabale-Mbarara-Kampla Highway will be complete, and the roads to and in Bwindi will be more level.
But i digress (from the Kenya forum).
Have a fun planning during the next two years!
