Cheli and Peacock safari 2014

My husband and I are planning on going to Kenya on a safari in August 2014. Friends of ours recently also went on a safari and used Cheli and Peacock to arrange their whole trip - 12 days. They were absolutely delighted with the professional service from Cheli and Peacock. We are also thinking that we might use this company, but on looking at some of the posts on this forum, I see that it could be possible to save some money by staying at C and P properties but using a Safari specialist, due to the fact that C and P would be charging rack rates as opposed to other agents who may be able to offer cheaper rate. Any suggestions of which operators would be a good choice please? Thanks.

C&P is a well respected operator and they would certainly have contract rates with all properties they work with, they work only with selected properties that fit their standards.

The best is to compare prices for yourself rather than to rely on hearsay. Write to C&P as well as some safari specialists and you will be able to judge for yourself and make your own choices.

Good luck in planning!
