Hopefully no more missed flights due to traffic once the line to JKIA is completed and modernised.
Yes, this has been mooted for a while. But even assuming it happens, passengers would still have to decide whether getting a cab to the railway station and a train to JKIA (hopefully without having to change at Embakasi) is better than sitting in a cab for two hours. I think it might be much the same.
What would *really* help with JKIA connections would be new branch lines from Karen, Westlands and Muthaiga and direct light rail services straigth to departures. But that sounds like part of a comprehensive transport policy for Nairobi. . .
