Wild Beast Migration

I am travelling to Masai Mara NP from 12 th to 15th Aug. What would be the status of Migration at that time??? Has it already begun???

Some small herds of wildbeests have been sighted along the sand river-keekorok area a good indicator that the full throttle migration is not too far away.

August is sometimes the epitome of the migration though you got to keep your fingers crossed for this one.

Lilian - where has it begun? I have spoken to several guides who are based in the Mara, and none of them have seen the wildebeest yet.

It has NOT begun. Was overflying the area just a day ago. On Saturday they were around Grumeti/Kirawira.
