1. Re: mozzies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

anything with 50% deet is good...ie. Jungle Formula in a pump spray. I'd say a bottle each would be fine for your duration, squirt on wrists, back of neck and on ankles, about two squirts on each area mentioned.

hi You are in for a treat !!!!!!!

hope you have your high factor suncream.... and a few gifts for the children........

you will need a pair of aqua shoes...... or any old trainers you dont want...... to have a walk out on the reef....

The poverty will smack you right in the face but wait until you see the most beautiful smiling faces of the Kenyan.....and the happiness of the children.....priceless.!!!

happy holiday

We were staying at Kikambala over New Year and didn't find the mozzies any more annoying than in Europe. Would advise buying a can of fly spray from the local supermarket for the room as a few stray mozzies did appear at night. The a/c usually discourages them if you can bear to keep it on all night.

I only ever sprayed my ankles and lower legs and wore perfume in the evening/ The only time I got bitten was when I fell asleep on the balcony after coming back from safari.

Have a good holiday.
