Hi,

If you buy it before you go it costs £30. If you get it at the airport on arrival it is $50 (they now only accept dollars at the airports).

Departure tax, depends on who you are flying with. Everybody other than First Choice / Thomson include it in the price. If you are flying with them I understand it is $20 ot 1700 ksh (I've flown with Kenyan Airways the last few times so haven't had to pay it)

Hi,

The visa is your personal responsibility, it won't be included in your package. As you are booked with Thomson you will also have to pay the departure tax as well. Sorry.

You can get a visa in advance from the kenyan High Commission in london. Takes about a week by post

At the current exchange rate its slightly cheaper to get them in advance, however you still have the costs of recorded return delivery and you would also require photo's to send aswell.

We are going in feb. and are going to get them on arrival again, it was ok last time and you can download and fill out the forms in advance from the Kenyan high commission.

All theese little things add up in cost and inconveinience but they are well worth it, you will have a holiday of a lifetime in Kenya.
