Voyager Beach Resort/Masai Mara Safari

We are looking at booking a 2 week holiday, staying at the Voyager Beach Resort with First Choice to also include the Masai Mara Safari.

We have read previous forums regarding vacanting your room whilst on safari, this does not appeal to us.

Please could we have some advice on the best way to book the safari in advance with another safari operator?

We woul ideally like the safari to commence may be 3 days into our holiday and not the 1 day which is offered by First Choice.

Thank you

Low Family

We Had No Problem Leaving All Our Stuff In Voyager Sea View Room When On Safari For Three Days. Went With First Choice Oct 2009. Booked Own Safaris With JT Safaris (Julius ) Very Decent Generous Genuine Guy.

Make Sure You Get Genuine JT www.julius-safaries.com His Web Page Has Reviews & All Info You Need To Select Lodges Etc.. I Even Wrote A Couple For Him He Was So Good.

Email jtsafaris@yahoo.com

Warning The Voyager Will Not Allow JT In - Tour Reps Don't Like His Better Deals. With Jt you get a vehicle & driver - not a dozen other passengers jostling for all the best shots & you get to choose when you want to go and where! You Will Love It - We Did Tsavo East & West - Saw Everything but The Rhino - But Had Seen Them In Kruger S.A. Thinking Of Returning This Year to The Voyager & Doing Masai Mari. HAVE FUN & ENJOY

If you book a full package with First choice, flights, hotel and safari then yes you will have to vacate your room for the duration of your safari. If you only use first choice to book your flight and hotel and you book your safari through a private tour operator then you don't have to vacate your room .

if you use the search facility then you will find plenty of reviews and contacts for local safari operators.

The Above Post From Destination Expert - I agree Yes This Is Quite True - We Only Booked Hotel & Flight With First Choice & Had No Problem!

Some People Did Have To Vacate Rooms When On A Tour Package That Included A Safari. They Were Really Annoyed Too Because It Was Not Made Clear To Them Initially.
