US Dollars or Kenyan Shillings?

From the reviews which I have already read, I presume that the local safari companies take payment in US dollars.

What about the hotel, which is the best currency to take for the Smugglers Cove restaurant, beauty treatments etc – US dollars or Kenyan shillings?

Thanks!

Safaris will take your dollars but the kenya shilling is best for all other payments or you can put all hotel bills on your credit card -local shopping is shillings but bigger supermarkets take credit cards
