Question about Hotels in HongKong

Hi! What can I do if I want to check in the hotel in HongKong but my age is under18?

I’m 16 years old girl from Thailand and I plan to have a solo-trip in HongKong. Do I have to have any permission paper from parents or something like that for check-in the hotel? Is passport checking enough for hotel check-in?

I’m sorry that my English is bad😣

I don't think any hotel will take you because you are not considered an adult. It is for the hotel's protection. If something happens to their room, they do not have a party to hold responsible to cover any damage.

Not only will hotel not take you in, but you might also be refused entry to Hong Kong. You need official permission to travel abroad at this age.
